Our History
Established in 2007 in Ushuaia, Argentina, Delver Agents (formerly Sealand Ship Agents and Suppliers) was founded with a clear purpose: to deliver high-impact, client-focused ship agency and marine logistics services in one of the world’s most dynamic maritime regions.
Under the leadership of founding member Veronica Baldasso, and supported by a skilled and forward-thinking management team, Delver has grown into a recognized leader in ship agency, marine logistics, and import-export operations. Today, as part of the Horizon Group, we combine regional strength with global capability — delivering seamless support wherever our clients operate.
We are proud to be regarded as the premium ship agency in the region, specializing in tailored solutions for expedition and luxury cruise ships, as well as commercial and institutional vessels. Our clients and partners include research organizations, local governments, and some of the world’s most prestigious cruise operators.
With strong collaborations across Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, the United States, and Europe, we coordinate logistics for over 70% of Antarctica-bound vessels, including cruise ships, yachts, and expedition teams. Our global footprint is supported by strategic offices in Amsterdam, Miami, Houston, New York, Los Angeles, and Seattle, enabling us to deliver reliable and responsive service across continents.
At our Antarctica hub in Ushuaia, we offer a full suite of services, including ship agency, marine logistics, ship supplies, port agency, customs brokerage, import-export, and crew and passenger support. We also operate temperature-controlled warehousing and deliver tailored, end-to-end logistics through an extensive network of suppliers, service providers, and warehouses. Powered by a team of over 80 professionals and integrated technologies like WorldTrack and NetSuite, we ensure full visibility, coordination, and quality at every step.
