Delver Proud to Support Brave Men and Women Providing Necessary First-Responders Service to Community
Delver Agents—a premier ship agency and supplier serving South America’s Southern Cone and Antarctica—recently made its annual donation to Bomberos Voluntarios De Ushaia (BVU), a local volunteer institution providing valuable first-responders services in the area for over 75 years.
“We are always grateful for the opportunity to support the brave men and women of BVU,” said Veronica Baldasso Palacios, Managing Director of Delver Agents. “Together, we strive to build a safer future for Ushuaia.”
With limited financial support from the Argentine government, BVU relies heavily on donations from the private sector and other organizations in order continue their dedicated fire and accident response services to the local community. Additionally, BVU’s hardworking members are employed on an ad honorem basis, providing professional services without payment, all for the public good.
Founded on June 2, 1946, Bomberos Voluntarios De Ushuaia is an institution with a 77-year history of serving the Ushuaia community. Its volunteers “work every day with every willingness to support the community in response to unexpected events, requiring the sacrifice of all its members,” according to its website.
